The Council of the University of Baghdad has approved during its seventh session to promote a number of lecturers to the rank of professorship, after the fulfillment of all the requirements of scientific promotion in terms of originality of their research and the duration of service.
Based on the resolution of the university’s council, the following lecturers have been recently promoted to the rank of professor: Dr. Sarim Dakhil Ahmed from the College of Fine Arts, Dr. Nagham Salam Ibrahim from the College of Education for Humanities (Ibn Rushd), Dr. Jamal Nada Saleh from the College of Arts, Dr. Intidhar Muhammad Manati from the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Ibn Al-Haitham), Dr. Nagham Muhammad Ayal from the College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Hussein Muhammad Taqi from the College of Engineering, Dr. Bassam Mahmoud from Al-Kindi College of Medicine, Dr. Aseel Laith Ahmed from the College of Fine Arts and Dr. Jabbar Khamat Hassan from the College of Fine Arts.
