The master’s student Aya Aws Saad from the Department of Energy Engineering at the College of Engineering, has published scientific research entitled: (Test of conductor and semiconductor electrocatalysts in high voltage alkaline electrolyzer as production media for green hydrogen) in the (International Journal of Hydrogen Energy) having (Impact factor= 7.139 &cite score =10) under the direct supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Farqad Ali Latif.

This comes within the directives of the presidency of the University of Baghdad and the instructions of the deanship of the college of engineering towards publishing scientific research in sober pre-reviewed journals as a contribution to raising the academic status of our university in the field of renewable energy. It is noteworthy that the aforementioned journal is listed in the Q1 index of Scopus and Clarivate Analytics. In this study, green hydrogen was produced using the integration of water electrolysis with the nanotechnology in order to increase hydrogen production and reduce the cost of expensive electrodes and replacing them with cheap nanoparticles, so it can be linked with new and renewable energy sources such as solar and wind energy so as to produce hydrogen.
