The Council of the College of Languages at the University of Baghdad held its ninth session under the chairmanship of the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, in his capacity as the dean of the college, to discuss a number of matters.
Dr. Munir al-Saadi discussed the importance of scientific research, stressing the completion of the scientific research plan within the specified time and the formation of scientific teams to follow up on the subject of scientific publishing for postgraduate students, as well as holding international conferences in the college and encouraging the publication of research papers in sober journals and international repositories. The members of the council also recommended the need to complete the requirements of scientific promotion as well as to facilitate administrative procedures for auditors and students, in addition to maintaining and restoration of the buildings and halls of the college and direct students to preserve the college property.
