The College of Engineering held an international workshop entitled (Renewable Energies and Smart Cities in Sustainable Development), within the activities of the Fourth International Conference on Geographic Information Systems and Smart Cities sponsored by the National Security Advisory. The workshop included two scientific sessions presented by the representative of the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Wadood Taher, and the Scientific and Technological Advisor to the National Security Advisory, Dr. Zaid Farhoud.
The conference sessions included the presentation of many specialized lectures from inside Iraq in person or through virtual platforms for the participation of professors from Saudi Arabia and Argentina. It included a series of scientific discussions and questions asked by the audience and concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the contributors and the members of preparatory and supporting committees.
