The Department of Computer Science, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, has organized a virtual workshop entitled “Image Processing for Signature Verification” with the participation of a number of students, researchers and those interested in the field of image processing.
The workshop aimed to introduce the importance of signature validation systems, their types and applications, and to present the most important image processing techniques used in these systems by explaining the types of signature verification systems and the challenges they face and the main image processing techniques used to build such systems, especially for workers in human resources divisions and daily dealing with official mail, official figures and other disciplines.
