The College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad held its second international conference entitled (Methodological and cognitive developments in political science: the reality of political science in Iraq and the Arab world) under the auspices of the First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Mr. Muhsen al-Mandalawi, and under the supervision of the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi.
The conference aimed to answer many of the problems facing the subject matter, namely the objectives of methodology when studying research methods in alignment with what is going on in developed countries, especially the curricula adopted in the college of political science which reflects positively on the skills of professors and students in general and the educational institutions in particular. More than thirty researcher papers have been presented in the conference and twenty-one researches were accepted at the conference, with the participation of a number of visiting professors from outside Iraq.
