Prof. Dr. Omar Falih Hassan, the director of dormitories, accompanied by Dr. Hatem al-Ardawi, the director of the reconstruction and projects department at the University of Baghdad have inspected recently the Buildings No. 3 & 5 at Al-Salam Student Housing Complex located in Palestine Street in Bagdad to follow-up the progress of the rehabilitation campaign of buildings within the specified schedule.
He stressed the need to commit to the directives of the rector regarding the accomplishment of works before the onset of the next academic in order to be ready to receive postgraduate students communing from other Iraqi governorates and to stay away from renting buildings from the private sector as was the case in (2020-2021). Dr. Omar Falih conveyed the greetings of the rector of the University of Baghdad to the engineering and technical staff for all their sincere efforts made even during the Eid holiday to ensure the sustainability of work. The visit was attended by the assistant director, the secretary of Al-Salam complex, the director of the reconstruction and projects unit and the engineer Hussein Musab.
