Dr. Saba Hussein, a faculty member from the Centre for Women’s Studies at the University of Baghdad has authored and published the book entitled ” Zaha Hadid: the pride of modern architecture”, published by Abjad House for Translation, Publishing and Distribution. She dealt in this book with a collection of articles written by the fans of the Iraqi queen of global engineering curves, the architect Zaha Hadid to shed light on her creative achievement through addressing fourteen axes related to this distinguished figure. In the context of this book, the author clarified a number of social and educational factors that have a great impact in the refinement of the features of the personality of Zaha Hadid who always praised her parents and professors who have enriched and supported her ambition in inventing distinctive designs that have left a clear footprint in the architectural arena.
