The lecturer Dr. Dalia Abdul Hadi Abdul Latif and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Saleh al-Jawad, professors from the college of engineering at the University of Baghdad have published a joint research, entitled (Experimental evaluation of Carbon Dioxide-Assisted Gravity Drainage process (CO2-AGD) to improve oil recovery in reservoirs with strong water drive) in the Fuel international journal after eight months of submitting this research.

It is noteworthy that this journal is one of the leading journals in the field of science and technology of fuel and energy, affiliated with Elsevier Publishing Company, having an Impact Factor (IF = 6.63) in Clarivate Analytics, (CiteScore = 9.8) and listed in (Q1).  This research is the first experimental research of its kind published in such a long-standing journal in the field of reservoir engineering and the enhanced oil recovery (EOR) conducted by the department of petroleum engineering at the University of Baghdad.
