A delegation from the presidency of the University of Baghdad headed by its rector Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi visited lately the University of Anbar and was received by the rector, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Saleh al-Nada, his assistants and a number of deans and heads of departments. The University of Baghdad’s delegation included the assistant rector for scientific affairs Prof. Dr. Abdul kareem al-Sammarraie, deans of the faculties of medicine, pharmacy, science, agriculture, administration & economics and physical education, as well as the directors of the department of quality assurance & university performance and the department of media & public relations. The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen scientific cooperation frameworks and to exchange visions on research expertise in various disciplines.

Prof. Dr. Munir al-Saadi expressed his gratitude for the importance of signing such a memorandum, which will develop and open up prospects of common horizons for academic work with each other, where for his part, the rector of the University of Anbar confirmed that the signing of this agreement came on the basis of a common desire between the two parties. Then the delegation headed by Dr. Munir al-Saadi visited the University of Anbar Natural Museum, the Renewable Energy Center, the Computer Center and the Continuing Education Center, expressing great admiration for the development of infrastructure and the remarkable scientific progress reached by the university, as well as praising both urban and scientific achievements, including the green spaces reserved for parks there. In the same vein, the deans of the faculties of the University of Baghdad made a tour with their counterparts to inspect several laboratories and libraries at the University of Anbar.
