The veterinary microbiology branch at the college of veterinary medicine in cooperation with the continuing education unit and Ibn Sina center for e-learning unit held a scientific symposium entitled “Nanocomposites and bacterial resistance” delivered by two faculty members at the college specialized in this field and attended by many professors and students. They first discussed the characteristics of nano-materials, how they are formed, manufactured in the living body and ways to make them more efficient and less toxic if used, as well as their applications at other levels, whether medical or otherwise.
