The college of pharmacy at the University of Baghdad organized an electronic workshop for two days entitled “Rational computational drug design approaches” via Zoom platform delivered by a specialized foreign team of experts supervised by the head of the pharmaceutical chemistry branch, Dr. Ayad Abdul Ali Jiyad, in the participation of a number of professors and postgraduate students.
The participants discussed this medical design software and app used for making many pharmaceutical designs and which is one of the most important electronic methods used in recent years to design and study the bio-characteristics of chemical compounds with pharmaceutical effectiveness electronically before being manufactured in laboratory. It is noteworthy that Glide is one of the technologies of IoT industry used in many fields such as product engineering, product design, pharmaceutical design and which the college of pharmacy at the University of Baghdad was keen to provide for faculty staff and scholars at the postgraduate studies to develop their research capabilities.
