The department of computer science, in cooperation with the continuing education unit and Ibn Sina unit for e-learning at the college of science organized a virtual workshop entitled “The reconstruction (simulation and dynamics)” with the participation of a number of students, professors and those concerned in this matter.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Suhad Faisal Shehan with the purpose of introducing the dynamics of electronic systems to comprehend their behavior and how to analyze and compare assumptions or mental models to gain a qualitative knowledge of how such systems work and change over time. Dr. Suhad Faisal studied the key role that mobile phones play as sensors for dynamic human behavior, such as the global positioning system (GPS) used for tracking individuals, also to detect the spatial behavior of individuals in urban areas and the patterns of human movement simultaneous with normal or abnormal events in different timescales and distances which results in a huge data set.
