The basic sciences branch of the college of dentistry, the University of Baghdad has organized recently an extensive workshop entitled (Elisa Techniques) in order to address the methods used for enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for detecting and quantifying soluble substances such as peptides, proteins, antibodies, and hormones. This test reveals the presence of antibodies or antigens in blood samples, saliva or other body fluids to detect infection or diseases. It is noteworthy that it is a simple and a quick test that has direct versus indirect strategies.
