Rector of the University of Baghdad receives the archeologist Nicolò Marchetti

Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad, has received recently the Italian archaeologist Nicolò Marchetti, the representative of the University of Bologna and expressed his appreciation for the interest shown by this Italian university and its experts to cooperate with the University of Baghdad. The two sides discussed matters related to strengthening cultural relations through mutual scientific programs and joint work in the fields of knowledge and antiquities. Dr. Munir al-Saadi also confirmed to the visiting guest our university’s readiness to open up prospects of research partnership and scholarships, exchange of students and professors with the University of Bologna in Italy and he thanked Mr. Marchetti for dedicating 155 archeology books to the college of arts.
