Rector of the University of Baghdad inaugurates two handicrafts exhibitions at the colleges of education and science for women


Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has opened an artistic handicrafts exhibition organized by the college of education for women, in the presence of the Director General of the Research and Development Department and the Undersecretary of Higher Education and Scientific Research Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majid, as well as the assistant rector for scientific affairs Prof. Dr. Abdul Kareem al-Sammarraie. The exhibition included a number of handicraft products presented by the students of the department of home economics and kindergarten, in addition to a patent exhibition in conjunction with the inauguration of a new discussion hall at the college.

In the same context, Dr. Munir al-Saadi visited the college of science for women and opened a smart hall for e-learning and an exhibition of technical products invented by the college students that can be employed in the labor market and support the public and private sectors, this came in preparation of a great scientific exhibition to be organized early next month. It is noteworthy that this event was attended by a number of deans of the colleges of science, agriculture, media and education that reflected the students’ experience in embodying their ideas in practice due to their unparalleled ambition for a better future.
