Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad visited on April 22, 2021 Al-Kafeel University in Najaf, accompanied by His Excellency the minister of culture, tourism and antiquities Mr. Hassan Nazim, His Excellency the minister of labor and social affairs Mr. Adel al-Rikabi, rector of the University of Kufa, Prof. Dr. Yasser Laftah, rector of the University of Al-Ameed Prof. Dr. Muayad al-Ghazali and were received by the rector of Al-Kafeel University Prof. Dr. Nawras al-Dahan, the member of the Board of Directors of the Holy Abbasid Threshold, Chairman of the Education and Higher Education Authority Dr. Abbas Rashid and the assistant rector for administrative affairs, Dr. Firas Kamel.
During their tour, the visiting delegation was briefed on Al-Kafeel University’s infrastructure, quality of the educational environment provided for faculty members and students, along with the latest technologies used in the solar energy processing system, where they expressed their admiration for the realistic efforts exerted by the university at all levels and the adoption of an advanced educational environment that mimics that witnessed in international universities. Dr. Munir al-Saadi wished more development and scientific innovation for university faculty and staff. It is noteworthy that the delegation of the University of Baghdad consisted of Prof. Dr. Mohsen al-Shammari, Director of Follow-up Department, Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fouad Jaber, Director of Diwan Affairs and Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, Director of Dormitories Affairs.
