The Public Law Branch, in coordination with Ibn Sina E-Learning Unit at the College of Law organized a scientific symposium entitled “Addressing electronic corruption in the dissemination of information” through Google Meet service that was delivered by Assist. Lecturer Huda Faiq Abdul Rahman with the aim to introduce the topic of electronic corruption, identifying its causes and phases, as well as developing solutions for this phenomenon vivid in the dissemination of information.
The lecturer recommended the urgent need for blocking misleading websites leading to the corruption of society, unsubscribe in deceptive websites, including those of various acts of abuse, exploitation or plagiarism, as well as the development of special regulations to protect smart devices from viruses and copyright of all literary, artistic and scientific works.
