Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Samarrai, the assistant rector for scientific affairs of the University of Baghdad inspected lately the examinations of the first course for postgraduate students in a number of university formations. At first, he visited the college of science and was received by the dean of the college Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim al-Ghazaz where he questioned the nature of questions and the extent of their objectivity and clarity, as well as to keep abreast of the administrative and health procedures adopted there.

Then the assistant rector visited the college of engineering accompanied by the dean, Prof. Dr. Saba Jabbar Nehme and talked with some students about the latest preparations taken by the deanship for the completion of their exams in an appropriate way, adding the need for compliance with the safety conditions and preventive measures in light of the outbreak of the new variants of Coronavirus pandemic. In the same context, Dr. Abdul Karim al-Samarrai visited the laser institute for postgraduate studies to supervise and follow up the mechanism of conducting exams and the criteria of questions and their compatibility with the instructions of the ministry of higher education and scientific research, also he asserted that the presidency of the University of Baghdad has recommended the need to adhere to health precautions in terms of social distancing as well as to order students to stay away from any gatherings before or after passing exams to avoid infection.
