Dr. Ahmed Mohammed al-Imam, a professor from the anatomy branch at the college of medicine have participated recently in the proceeding of the 7th virtual international conference entitled (Social and Ethical Dimensions of Changes) sponsored by the University of Rzeszów, Poland with a research paper on (Conflicting opinions on digital super intelligence and the Kardashev Scale).

The introduction of the research included a prelude and a historical background on artificial intelligence, the acceleration of its uses in scientific fields in general and in medical fields in particular during the past two decades. He also pointed out the importance of combining these technologies with the human element and not to rely on them entirely to sustain the continuity of the human element as well as to ensure the existence of our medical staff working on these technologies in parallel and complementary to their work. Dr. Ahmed al-Imam called for legislation in the foreseeable future to protect those who benefit from these advanced technologies and to ensure that their services would not be diminished.

It is worth mentioning that the researcher hinted to some research data regarding the risks of the excessive use of such advanced technologies in medical institutions according to vivid examples of different peoples exposed to technological breaches that led to the suspension of the work of these scientific facilities and hindered their output and plans in research and development.
