Prof. Dr. Ahmed Wahid Nassir, assistant rector for administrative affairs at the University of Baghdad visited recently al-Nasr dormitories complex at the medical city, accompanied by Assist. Prof. Dr. Sarmad al-Ansari, the director of diwan and Prof. Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, the director of the dormitory department. The assistant rector stressed the need to pay attention and raise the level of services in accordance with the status and size of students admitted the current year, also praised the efforts of the director and technical & supervisory committees to provide a satisfied living environment for students.

Then Dr. Ahmed Wahid met a number of postgraduate students and listened to their remarks about the quality of services in line with a detailed explanation from the secretary of al-Nasr Complex, Mr. Mohammed Riad about the mechanism of housing students and how to conduct student housing transactions in cooperation with the Housing Division. For his part, the director of dormitories confirmed that they focused on reopening the internal departments after the closure due to Covid-19 pandemic during the last period and has now completed the first and second phase of the housing plan, which included the opening of four complexes in Baghdad and they are working on the next phase to solve the main problems of each housing complex at the level of infrastructure and services provided to residents, adding that the work delayed previously due to overlapping issues among successive administrations.
