The rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hameed Al-Saadi participated in the events of the 8th Ashura Cultural E-Festival held annually to revive the painful anniversary of the martyrdom of Iman Hussein (PBUH) & his family and companions. During his speech the rector stated that we remember in this event the noble values adhered by this great Islamic character to follow his path as well as to encourage our students to exert more efforts to achieve their goals successfully.
It is worth mentioning that this festival witnessed many events including reading some poems that recalled the moral lessons of peace adopted by Imam Hussein (PBUH) in his approach against injustice, adopting the values of charity, equality and peaceful coexistence.
