Prof. Ahmed Tahib from the department of petroleum engineering at the University of Baghdad delivered a lecture on the basics of geological and reservoir modeling at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) in which he focused on the main steps applied in the process of designing geological models and the information needed to convert them into mechanized flow models.

Prof. Ahmed Tahib provided a full explanation in this regard out of his practical and academic experience to bring graduate and postgraduate students closer to the realities of working in oil industry in Iraq. This event witnessed a wide gathering of professors and researchers from the department of petroleum engineering, as well as a number of teaching staff from other Iraqi universities.
