Dr. Faez Fawzi Mustafa and Dr. Nabras Hussein Ghaib have participated in the meetings of Iraq’s Crisis Cell sponsored and headed by His Excellency the minister of industry and minerals Dr. Saleh Abdullah Al-Jubouri at the ministry headquarters along with general managers and specialists from the ministry’s companies as well as members from the University of Baghdad and others from the private sector to follow up the manufacture of equipment and medical supplies to support our health sector and the efforts of the government crisis cell in combating and prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The professors announced the manufacture of pioneering models for the ventilator and robots transporting medicine, food and other equipment through the treatment of patients with this disease in addition to the evaluation of ventilators designed and provided by the General Company for Glass and Thermals, the Institute of Research and Industrial Development and the General Establishment of Electrical and Electronic Industries at the ministry of industry in cooperation with the Military Industry Authority and the private sector. Also they announced working on flexible respirators with 3D printing technology and nanofiber masks.
