The department of food science at the college of agricultural engineering sciences, in collaboration with the department of environment and water at the ministry of science and technology have organized a training course on “the use of chromatography in the diagnosis of organic compounds”.

The course on its first day included a lecture delivered by the lecturer Ali Mohammed Jawad al-Tamimi who is specialized in biochemistry where le dealt with chromatography techniques, concepts as well as the basic principles of HPLC technology. The second day witnessed a lecture on the general principles of GC gas chromatography, its diagnosis via Mass.

At the conclusion of the course, certificates of appreciation and acknowledgement were distributed to the participants, where the attendees praised the efforts of the committee supervising the course, represented by the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Tarek Nassir Musa.
