Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohammed Mahdi from the department of energy engineering received the 3rd place for the best published research in 2018 in the Journal of Applied Energy for his paper entitled: (Solidification Enhancement of PCM in a Triplex-tube thermal energy storage system with nanoparticles and fins) at the Iraqi Science Day Awards 2019 sponsored by the ministry of higher education and scientific research.
The scholars were honored during a major ceremony held at the Martyr al-Hakim Hall at the University of Baghdad. It is worth mentioned that this paper is classified as having “Cite Score: 9.54 and Impact Factor: 8,426” and has so far received more than 50 research references from other scholars according to Scopus data.
