The department of physics at Ibn al-Haitham college of education for pure and applied sciences organized a workshop entitled “Principles of molecular Physics in medical techniques”. The lecturers discussed the techniques of optical cavities which are one of the important techniques in modern analytical laboratory devices based on the principle of picotechnology as well as addressing the latest applications on this field in modern physical studies.

This workshop includes the development of biological laboratory equipment which depends on the composition and measurements of physics, where it has the ability to handle samples of fluids ranging in size from (10-9 molari) and detect a sample of a size ranging from (12-10 molari). This helps in studying the characteristics of samples more broadly and more accurately as well as dealing with microbiology in the medical and immune fields as well as early investigation of the genes responsible for many genetic diseases by following modern techniques of genetic engineering, immunology and histology of animal cells.
