The Biological Research Unit for Hot Zones at the college of science organized in collaboration with the Ibn Sina E-Learning Unit an ollne course via Google Classroom platform entitled “Immune Pigmentation” with the participation of a number of professors and researchers from inside and outside the college.

The course was presented by head of the department of pathology research at the Leading Center for Cancer Research aimed at providing a detailed explanation of immunohistochemistry which is one of the technologies used to determine the tissue expression of various types of antigens for proteins in the body to distinguish this from the technology of cellular immunochemistry. This technology is very helpful in the process for diagnose of cell abnormalities such as those in cancerous tumors, as some specific molecular markers are features of certain specific cellular events, such as cell reproduction or death as well as the widespread use of immunomyological chemistry in research at the present to understand the distribution and location of biomarkers and the heterogeneous expression of proteins in different parts of the bio-tissue.
