Assist. Prof. Dr. Ya’arub Omar Naji from the department of mechanical engineering at al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering has obtained recently a second global patent from the University of Washington (GW) entitled “Method and device for transmitting electrical power and remote sensing through the human body without wires using the subjective space of the conductive and electrically isolated objects” during his scholarship in the field of Biomechatronics. The researcher proved that it is possible to transfer electrical charges on the surface of living objects without going through the nerves in a very secure way, as well as the possibility of transfer of this power to portable electrical devices without any need for a charging battery.
