Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Imad Hussein Marza Al-Husseini received in his office the Charge d’Affaires of the Dutch Embassy in Baghdad, Mr. Tsjeard Hoekstra and his entourage.

During his speech, Al-Husseini gave his quests a brief overview of our university’s position and its role in graduating elites of scientific competencies as well as its status in international rankings such as Times Higher Education Ranking (THE) and others, also he discussed prospects of scientific cooperation in the near future between the two countries through sending graduate students to complete their studies in Netherlands.

At the conclusion of this visit, the Dutch Charge d’Affaires praised the university infrastructure, scientific facilities and sober research and he agreed on granting a master scholarship for postgraduate students in the field of water treatment engineering.
