Prof. Dr. Dhuha Adel Mahmoud, a faculty member from the department of kindergarten at the college of education for women has participated recently in the 5th International Scientific Conference on Advanced Trends in Islamic Studies and Manuscripts held in Malaysia with a research paper entitled (Strife against self and its role in keeping secrets in Qur’an).

In this study, the researcher tried to deal with this topic from the Islamic point of view since there is a fear among many people of the state of insinuation within the human soul that they believe it comes from devilish reasons only.  Dr. Dhuha Adel applied the inductive and the analytical approaches when examining the texts of the Holy Quran and their interpretation and found that people do not differentiate between the whisper of the soul and that of demons and that the whisper of the soul comes before reveling secrets and God will not be held accountable for it while after the revelation of the secret, the devil’s insinuation emerges.
