Assist. Prof. Dr. Hamdia Mohammed Shahwan al-Hamdani, head of the department of research and studies at the center for market research and consumer protection has participated in the 7th International Scientific Research Forum in Antalya, Turkey with a research paper entitled (Preparation of green eco-friendly nano-pesticides using copper salts).

The purpose of this research is to study the excessive increase in the use of chemical pesticides for the control of various agricultural pests and their possession of high toxicity that affect human and animal health as well as its negative effects on the entire controlled ecosystem and encapsulation and the use of the release technique.

Nanotechnology has helped radically to change pesticide use at the present time, so we notice that many pesticides companies have therefore produced 100-250 nm of nanoproducts that can melt in water 30 times more compared with the conventional pesticides. Thus this research aimed to achieve a preparation of an environmentally friendly insecticide using copper nanominutes as well as replacing the chemicals with active ingredients of Citrus aurantium leaf extract to control the white fly in laboratory and field.
