The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Al-Zughaibi, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashimi, opened the twelfth session on updated teaching methods toward blended learning, as part of the University’s efforts to develop faculty competence and strengthen their capacity to employ modern teaching methods.
In his remarks, the President of the University affirmed that updating teaching methods represents a fundamental pillar for advancing the quality of university education, pointing to the importance of effectively integrating in-person instruction with digital technologies in a way that enhances student engagement and addresses the requirements of the educational process amid the rapid transformations in the higher education environment.
This session is part of the programs of the Continuing Education Center at the University of Baghdad, which aim to develop teaching skills and advance educational practices in line with academic and technical developments, contributing to building a flexible and effective learning environment grounded in quality and innovation.
This activity supports the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal Four, which calls for quality education, as well as Goal Seventeen, concerning partnerships for achieving the goals.
