The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Al-Zughaibi, accompanied by his assistants for scientific and administrative affairs, received the Director of the Karbala Center for Studies and Research at the Al-Husseini Holy Shrine, Mr. Abdul Amir Al-Qurayshi, in the presence of the Chairman of the Conference’s Scientific Committee, Nadhir Al-Hindawi, members of the supervisory committee, and members of the conference committee from the University of Baghdad.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in preparations for the Eleventh International Scientific Conference on the Arbaeen Visitation, as well as the scientific and organizational aspects and the mechanisms of coordination between the University of Baghdad and the Karbala Center for Studies and Research, in a manner that contributes to the success of the conference and the achievement of its research and academic objectives.
The President of the University affirmed the importance of the conference in documenting the scientific, cultural, and humanitarian dimensions of the Arbaeen Visitation, pointing to the University’s commitment to providing an academic environment supportive of scientific and cultural events.
The meeting also included the honoring of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Al-Zughaibi, the Assistant Presidents for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, and the conference committee members, in recognition of their efforts and contributions in supporting the scientific and organizational preparations for the conference.
