The College of Education for Women at the University of Baghdad organized the “Green Day Festival” with the participation of university leadership and faculty. The event reflected the university’s commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability, featuring the inauguration of new projects such as a campus nursery to expand green spaces and promote environmental culture among students.
The festival also engaged students in eco-initiatives that encourage sustainable practices and foster a greener academic environment. This initiative supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 15 (Life on Land).
