The Colleges of Excellence and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Baghdad witnessed a significant turnout of applicants during the second phase of admission interviews for the academic year 2025–2026, specifically from second-round graduates. The interviews were attended by the University President, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, and the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah.

The interviews were conducted under the supervision of five specialized committees comprising the deans of both colleges and a number of faculty members, in a well-organized environment that ensured fairness and transparency in evaluating the applicants.

This phase complements the earlier interviews held for first-round graduates, during which both colleges recorded a noticeable increase in the number of applicants seeking to join their programs. The growing interest is attributed to the colleges’ modern orientation and promising fields in artificial intelligence, advanced digital technologies, and forward-looking academic programs that meet labor market demands and keep pace with global technological advancements.

This activity contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4, which advocates for quality education.
