Assist.Prof.Dr. Heba Mohammed Fadel, a faculty member in the Department of Information and Communications Engineering at Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, participated in the proceedings of the 12th International Peer-Reviewed Scientific Conference organized by the World Authority of Scientists and Researchers in the Kingdom of Morocco, in cooperation with Ajloun National University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The conference was held under the title “Integrations of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity on Human Life.”
During the conference sessions, Dr. Heba presented a research paper entitled: “Grad Guide: An Intelligent Application to Assist Sixth Preparatory Students in Filling University Application Forms.” The research discussed the development of an interactive intelligent application based on artificial intelligence techniques aimed at facilitating the process of filling out electronic university application forms for Iraqi universities, by improving data entry accuracy and reducing common errors, thus supporting students at a critical stage of their academic journey.
This scientific participation reflects the college’s commitment to encouraging faculty members to engage in international scientific events and to employ modern technology in serving the community and the educational sector, based on its vision to promote smart education and academic innovation.
Furthermore, this activity contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, which calls for quality education, as well as Goal 17, which emphasizes partnerships for achieving the goals.
