The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, received in his office at the university headquarters Lieutenant General Walid Khalifa Mohammed, Commander of Baghdad Operations, on an official visit aimed at enhancing joint cooperation between the academic and security institutions. The meeting was attended by the University Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Prof.Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi, and the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Prof.Dr. Hamid Ali Kazem.
During the meeting, several topics of mutual interest were discussed, with an emphasis on the importance of utilizing academic expertise to support security institutions and involving students in applied research projects that contribute to addressing current societal challenges particularly in the fields of security, environment, and health in a way that serves the country’s interests and strengthens the effectiveness of state institutions.
This visit comes as part of the University of Baghdad’s policy of openness and collaboration with all state institutions, aiming to activate scientific and administrative partnerships and contribute to building an institutional state based on a sustainable scientific approach.
This visit aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
