The meeting also included discussions on updates regarding the first and second phases of the traffic congestion relief projects in both the Karkh and Rusafa sides of the city. It involved a review of progress schedules and obstacles hindering implementation, with the goal of finding urgent solutions in coordination with the concerned authorities.

Participants in the meeting included Engineer Hussein Jassim, Director General of the Roads and Bridges Directorate; Lieutenant General Jasim Al-Zubaidi, Security Coordinator for Traffic Congestion Relief Projects in the Prime Minister’s Office; along with several consulting experts, project officials, and heads of technical departments.
