The Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Prof.Dr. Raghad Abdulrazzaq Al-Hashemi, chaired an extensive coordination meeting with the directors of administrative and financial departments across the university’s units to follow up on the administrative and technical preparations for the Colleges of Artificial Intelligence and Excellence.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance institutional cooperation and unify efforts among the concerned units to ensure the completion of all requirements for launching the two colleges in accordance with the approved administrative and organizational frameworks.

During the meeting, Prof.Dr. Al-Hashemi emphasized that the University of Baghdad places the project of the two colleges at the top of its priorities, given their pivotal role in supporting digital transformation, fostering innovation, and expanding the horizons of higher education toward future-oriented disciplines that meet market needs and keep pace with its evolving demands.

This meeting is part of a series of intensive sessions initiated by the university to ensure a robust academic launch for these two scientific institutions, thereby contributing to strengthening the university’s standing as a national academic institution steadily advancing toward development and renewal.

This initiative aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
