Prof.Dr. Sabah Munfi Ridha, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, participated in the First International Conference on Data Science and Business Intelligence, representing Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad. The conference was organized by the Middle Technical University, Administrative Technical College, and attended by Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with broad participation from Iraqi universities and specialists.

The conference also witnessed the participation of faculty members from the college in presenting their research papers.
Assist.Prof.Dr. Suad Adnan Noaman, along with researcher Ahmed Khalil Hassan from the Department of Accounting, presented their study titled: “The Role of the Three Lines Model Issued by the IIA in Achieving Sustainable Development for Iraqi Economic Units.”

The research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Three Lines Model, developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), in supporting sustainable development within Iraqi economic entities. Lecturer Dr. Noor Salim also participated with her research paper titled: “Comparison of Deep Neural Network Models (LSTM, Bi-LSTM, GRU, and Bi-GRU) for Gold Price Prediction.” The conference included discussions of a variety of research topics related to business intelligence and data science.

On the sidelines of the conference, Dean Dr. Sabah Munfi Ridha was honored with the conference shield, which he received on behalf of the President of the University of Baghdad.
