Professor Dr. Raghad Abdulrazzaq Al-Hashemi, Vice President of the University of Baghdad for Administrative Affairs, conducted a field visit to the construction sites of the Colleges of Excellence and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Baghdad. She was accompanied by several department heads from the university presidency to review the stages of completion and monitor the progress of the work.
During the visit, the delegation received a detailed briefing from the supervising engineers on the progress of both civil and technical works. They affirmed that the projects are proceeding according to the predetermined timelines and emphasized the importance of adhering to engineering and technical standards to ensure a modern educational environment aligned with the latest scientific advancements.
This visit reflects the university administration’s commitment to overseeing strategic projects that contribute to developing the infrastructure of higher education in Iraq and strengthening emerging disciplines such as artificial intelligence and advanced academic programs.
It is worth noting that the establishment of the Colleges of Artificial Intelligence and Excellence is considered a significant initiative that supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—specifically Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
