Dr. Shaima Mohammed Hussein, a faculty member at the College of Nursing, University of Baghdad, has been selected as a peer review board member for the evaluation of a research paper in The Malaysian Journal of Nursing, published by Asia Pacific Higher Learning Sdn Bhd.

The journal aims to advance the nursing healthcare sector by publishing scientific articles in various fields of nursing, contributed by researchers from around the world. It is classified within international indexing systems and falls within the fourth quartile of the Scopus database.

The selection was made in recognition of Dr. Hussein’s extensive scientific expertise and distinguished contributions in academic research. She has a strong record of published studies in esteemed peer-reviewed journals and has served as a peer review board member in several international and local academic journals.

This achievement adds to a series of milestones attained by the College of Nursing, which has secured positions in global academic rankings due to the research contributions of its faculty, international collaborations, and its growing academic reputation. The institution’s scholarly impact—reflected in the citation frequency of faculty research—demonstrates its commitment to strengthening its status as one of the leading academic establishments in the region.
