Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Jawad Kazem, a faculty member at the College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad, has published a valuable scientific research paper in BMC Nursing, a journal classified within the first quartile (Q1) in Springer Nature.

The journal aims to advance nursing healthcare standards and focuses on the medical and nursing fields. It is part of the Scopus and Clarivate indexing databases and is published from the United Kingdom, with its headquarters in London.

This achievement adds to a series of accomplishments by the College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad, reinforcing its position in global rankings. The university’s faculty research, international collaborations, and global reputation—reflected in the high citation rates of its research—have solidified its standing as one of the region’s leading academic institutions.

Furthermore, this accomplishment contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
