The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad, through its Media and Government Communication Division, has organized an awareness campaign to educate students and the university community about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This initiative is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to promote health and social awareness.
The campaign featured educational posters placed throughout the college, as well as digital displays outlining the concept of ASD, its key symptoms, and ways to support individuals affected by it. Additionally, the campaign provided guidance on appropriate interactions that foster inclusivity and enhance the quality of life for individuals with autism.
This campaign reflects the college’s commitment to its humanitarian and educational role, reinforcing its dedication to building a more informed and understanding academic community regarding health and psychological issues.
The college administration reaffirms its continued support for awareness initiatives that aim to spread knowledge and promote a culture of acceptance and inclusion within and beyond the university environment.
This activity contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), which advocates for ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.
