In a new academic achievement added to the credentials of the Center for Strategic and International Studies – University of Baghdad, Dr. Mona Hussein Obaid, a researcher at the center, has been selected as a member of the editorial board of the “DAN” academic journal, which is published by the DAN Academic Scientific Center in Denmark.
“DAN” is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to enhancing the quality of research and promoting academic integrity. It is published quarterly under the supervision of the center’s scientific council, adhering strictly to ethical publishing standards and intellectual property rights protection for both authors and the journal.
The journal follows internationally and regionally recognized scientific research criteria, making it a reputable platform that balances originality and innovation in academic content. It has been officially cataloged within the Royal Danish Library and has obtained an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN), further solidifying its academic standing at the international level.
This selection is a testament to Dr. Mona Hussein’s scientific competence and academic expertise, while also supporting the presence of Iraqi scholars in prestigious global research institutions and scientific journals.
This achievement aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4, which promotes quality education, as well as Goal 17, which advocates for partnerships in achieving sustainable development objectives.
