The Dean of the College of Engineering at Baghdad University, Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majid, accompanied by the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Wameed, welcomed a ministerial committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The visit aimed to monitor the progress of final examinations and assess the college’s adherence to established examination regulations.
During the inspection, the committee visited the departments of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Surveying Engineering, reviewing the examination halls and the questions presented to students. They also interacted with several students to gauge their opinions on the nature of the questions and their alignment with the curriculum.
Additionally, the committee visited the examination boards within the engineering departments, accompanied by department heads, to examine the procedures for organizing examination records, documenting grades, and ensuring accuracy and transparency in the examination process.
At the conclusion of the visit, the ministerial committee praised the high level of organization in the examination halls and the efficient management of the exams, commending the efforts of department heads and faculty members overseeing the final examinations.
This visit aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4, which advocates for quality education.
