The College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at Baghdad University, in cooperation with the Federal Integrity Commission, organized a workshop titled “Administrative Investigation Efficiency and Its Impact on Enhancing Institutional Work Quality.” The workshop was led by Professor Mohsen Ali Dawood from the Integrity Commission and attended by the College Dean, Professor Dr. Ameera Mohammed Saleh, along with several faculty members and staff.
The workshop aimed to strengthen legal and procedural understanding of administrative investigations. Sessions covered investigation planning, evidence collection, and objective analysis. Participants emphasized the importance of ensuring integrity and impartiality to uphold justice and institutional transparency.
Recommendations included reinforcing the independence of investigators and investigation committees to ensure fairness in outcomes. Attendees also advocated for transparent mechanisms to report investigation progress and results while stressing the protection of employee and institutional rights through fair procedures. Additionally, they underscored the need for accountability measures and regulations to mitigate external influences.
This workshop aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 16, which promotes peace, justice, and strong institutions.
