The College of Education for Women, through its Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, organized a training workshop entitled “Introducing Students And Graduates To Available Job Opportunities And Required Skills For The English Language Major.” The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Wafaa Sahib Mahdi and Assistant Lecturer Zainab Mohammed Abdul.

The workshop aimed to acquaint students and graduates with the employment opportunities available to English language majors and to develop the professional skills necessary for entering the labor market. It also focused on enhancing competencies in preparing résumés and successfully navigating job interviews with confidence and efficiency.

The lecturers recommended the continuation of similar training workshops, the strengthening of cooperation between academic institutions and the labor market, and the encouragement of students to cultivate their professional skills while keeping pace with market demands.

This workshop forms part of the efforts of the College of Education for Women to prepare students, develop their skills, and enhance their readiness to engage in the workforce.

The workshop also contributes to achieving one of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4, which calls for quality education.
