As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance international academic collaboration, Baghdad University participated in a training program organized by Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. The program brought together presidents of Iraqi universities and distinguished academics, with Baghdad University represented by Dr. Ali Abdul Hassan, Director of the President’s Office. Discussions focused on the impact of internationalization on higher education and ways to foster global cooperation.
The program emphasized integrating international expertise locally, which contributes to enhancing the university’s competitiveness and expanding global knowledge networks. Additionally, strategic initiatives were explored to strengthen collaboration between Baghdad University and Cardiff Metropolitan University, including the launch of joint initiatives and academic exchange programs.
This participation aligns with Baghdad University’s broader mission to expand its research and educational operations internationally, reinforcing its academic standing and supporting sustainable development goals, particularly in the areas of quality education and global partnerships.
